Counseling for Gen Z in San Antonio
Counseling for Teens and Young Adults
I have a special place in my heart for teenagers and 20-somethings. This age group faces unprecedented circumstances that are affecting their well-being, from COVID to gun violence to the environment. Many Gen Zers are worried for their future, lonely, and dealing with trauma.
There’s still so much hope for these emerging adults, and I’d love to be the counselor to help them find it again. I have in-person availability in San Antonio and virtual availability across Texas.
My specialty is working with clients in that uncomfy realm between feeling like a kid and feeling like an adult. It’s terrifying for anyone to face their future, but the one handed to Gen Z is particularly frightening. Most of my clients are struggling to find happiness in our toxic world, but there’s hope. Let’s rediscover the joy and peace you had as a kid.
Teens and young adults are also more comfortable speaking about their mental health. According to the American Psychological Association, Gen Zers are 27% more likely to report their mental health as fair or poor.

What Do I Talk About in Counseling?
The topic of each session is up to you, but here are some of the struggles my clients face:
How do I make friends as an adult?
How can I be more present?
Why can’t I stop worrying about everything?
My life is great — why am I still sad?
How can I improve my relationships?
What are my triggers?
I need better coping skills.
How do I love myself?
How can I be less dependent on others?
“For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.”
